:Dragon boat team pledge to do their best.

TAWAU, The district’s Teo Chew Association dragon boat team will represent the district to compete in the coming Kota Kinabalu International this coming weekend and pledge to be competitive in the race.

Its chairman, Patrick Chin said this at the flag handling over ceremony held at the Tawau Yatch Club where he hand over the flag to the team leader witnessed by ex Member of Parliament for Tawau Shim Paw Fatt who is also the first vice chairman of the association.

The team had won first place during the district’s dragon boat race in 2007 and took second place in the same event held this year.

`We qualified to compete and we will be competitive this time’, Chin stressed.
